Rockland Recovery Homes was established in February of 2018 with the mission to support persons in recovery by improving their access to safe, stable residences with peer and community support.  This is a vital part of the process for recovery from substance use disorders. Recovery homes are needed to ensure a successful recovery.

The first recovery home, called Spring House, opened in July of 2019 and proved to be very beneficial to the 8 residents. They took great care of the home and property and expressed pride in their home and gratitude for this opportunity.

The men in this home moved to a 6500 Sq. ft. house, that RRH purchased on 12/16/2020. This enabled us to expand our services. This 1937 residence has been expensive to maintain. We are considering selling this property and purchasing a smaller recovery home.

RRH acquired a residence in 2021 needing major renovations. This house was renovated and opened as a recovery home on September 1st. 2022. It has been named Paul’s Place, as this was the home that he wanted to start RRH with.

Rockland Recovery Homes is a community organization that needs community support to succeed. Please share this with friends and family.

Your continued donations will enable RRH to succeed in this urgent need to reduce the current death rate for this terrible disease and return residents to their communities as productive, citizens.       Thank you!

Supporting Paul Clement’s Legacy of Helping Others

June 7, 2018 by helpdesk1

My son Paul told me that recovery homes would be very beneficial to the many people he knew that were working at recovery. He started working with me on plans for the first recovery home in Rockland county. Rockland Recovery Homes, Inc., was established as a non-profit organization with the mission to support persons in recovery from a substance use disorder, by improving their access to safe, stable residences, along with  peer and community support. As Paul and our family experienced first-hand, for those suffering from this disease, support of this nature is greatly lacking and is desperately needed so that lives may be saved and so other families can avoid this heartbreak.

Paul died March 17th. in 2018. RRH has opened a recovery home “Paul’s Place” to carry on his legacy of helping others. With the support of the community RRH will continue providing this vital service for the many working at recovery. Recovery is Possible.
