To support persons in recovery by improving their access to safe, stable residences with peer and community support.
Our vision is adequate housing for all persons in recovery in Rockland County.
To provide affordable housing to Rockland County residents who are in recovery from addiction.
This includes those who have recently completed inpatient programs as well as those graduating from half-way houses and drug court.
Shared secure housing with others in recovery is a supportive environment for persons making efforts to return to the community in a positive and productive way and helps them achieve residential stability.
It is also a means of obtaining greater self-determination by having more influence over decisions that affect their lives.
There is currently only one halfway house for men and one for women in our county plus a small group of supportive living apartments in our area.
There are currently no supportive living homes for the many who are ready to become independent and remain in their community near friends and family.
